Again?! Why yes indeed, awards season is upon us, and we’ve only gone and been nominated for two prestigious awards!
Who’s your DADI?
First up are the eminent Drum Awards for the Digital Industries (DADIs). They are open “internationally to agencies and brands who are producing great digital work” – over at Extreme, we certainly like to think we fit that bill.
And thankfully, according to their expert judging panel, we do! A website we produced for Leeds-based Emsleys Solicitors has been nominated for the category of ‘Best Professional Services Website, App or Campaign’.
Emsleys Solicitors’ previous website generated leads, but didn’t reflect the quality of service the company offers, nor did it offer a great experience on mobile devices.
Thanks to the fully-bespoke design and strategic build of their new website, Emsleys has seen significant, consistent and measurable increases in traffic and enquiries since the launch last year. This was coupled with a full-service marketing campaign, boosting not only the volume, but also the quality of leads – as well as Emsleys’ brand authority, even resulting in their Director Alistair McKinlay securing a place on BBC’s The One Show sofa!
This ceremony takes place on Thursday 19th October, and promises to be a swanky affair at none other than the Park Plaza Westminster, London.
Not just any old Social Media awards…
Having already been finalists for The Drum Marketing Awards as well as at the prestigious Northern Digital Awards this year alone, it’s certainly fair to say that our black tie attire is getting a bit of use.
So we know what you’re thinking: surely our brilliant social media bods can’t be nominated for any more awards?! WRONG.
This time, our work with Nisa Local is shortlisted for the category of ‘Best Strategic Use of Social Media’ at the illustrious UK Social Media Communications Awards – or, in their hashtag-friendly format, the #somecomms Awards. They “celebrate the very best in UK Social Media Communications”, so it’s fair to say that we’re absolutely chuffed to have been made a finalist.
As delighted as we are, it should come as no surprise that our social media experts are attracting this kind of national-scale award recognition. Extreme’s campaign turned Nisa, the convenience retailer, into the industry leader for social engagement – in only one year. Through a variety of creative, strategic elements, our social media campaign turned around Nisa’s social media fortunes in a very short space of time, on a limited budget.
Armed with in-depth target audience research, our strategy focused on providing more of what Nisa shoppers wanted to see: content, competitions, influencers, online events and more. This grew Nisa Local’s total engagements to outstrip nearest competitor, Londis as well as Co-Operative Food UK, making Nisa the industry leader. Oh, and our campaign had the (intended) effect of raising awareness of Nisa Local stores.
Certainly award-finalist worthy, if you don’t mind us saying ourselves. The ceremony takes place on Wednesday 18th October at the alluring Montcalm Marble Arch in London. See you there – and fingers crossed for us!
