Extreme 2018

Our Extreme-ly great year!

After years of growth, several expansions, a refurb and lots of new faces, we’re so proud to be able to report continued success

It’s that time of year when we reflect on everything we’ve done over the last twelve months, but this year our roundup is even more exciting, because we can officially say it’s been our BEST EVER YEAR!

After years of growth, several expansions, a refurb and lots of new faces, we’re so proud to be able to report continued success. We all know the world of marketing moves fast and it’s a crowded market to say the least, so we’re thrilled to be the not-so-small agency making a name for itself with some amazing clients (old and new).

We started the year taking home the Employer of the Year award at the Harrogate Advertiser Business Awards. That was a great night where we celebrated the culture we’ve created here at Extreme and how looking after your people can make all the difference.

We’ve won some incredible accounts across our team this year too, as well as growing some existing ones. Go team! Among the new faces in our client portfolio are UDL, 4Paws, General Tarleton, Arnold Laver and our most recent win, Glorious! Foods!

We’ve launched amazing sites for Open Arms Malawi, partyware provider Procos, audio equipment specialist BishopSound, luxury Holiday Park operator Park Leisure, Cycle the Dales, UDL and Lily Comms to name a few. Our work often goes beyond the launch though, our relationships are built and maintained over time as we support the lasting efficiency of the websites we've worked hard to build and clients add marketing bolt-ons to support their objectives.

Some incredible 2018 website stats from the Extreme studio:

Park Leisure enquiries increased by 266% in one month

BishopSound sales this financial year so far are up 73% year-on-year

The Stable Company have seen a 48.15% increase in enquiries from organic traffic when comparing Q4 2018 with Q4 2017

There’s more awards too! We scooped the award at the Brand Yorkshire Awards for the Out Of Their League category - which recognises brands who do work for larger clients! Now, as if our finest suits haven’t seen enough action, we’re counting down to the Northern Digital Awards in January, where we’ll be up against some major industry names for not one, not two, but THREE incredible categories (Best Use of PPC, Best Use of Video and Best Ecommerce Website).

We’ve also had plenty of new faces here at Extreme due to a growth in demand for our work, across development, social media, content and SEO. We’ve worked hard to bring you even more industry insight this year with blogs on the Future of Search, How to Rank With Featured Snippets and the value of User Generated Content.

Our new bigger, busier team got stuck into the World Cup, we devised the Deep Blue Clean campaign to highlight the implications of plastic use on our oceans, we held our own Bake Off and we’re rounding the year off with a good old-fashioned Extreme knees up!

Needless to say, it’s been a busy one, but we wouldn’t want it any other way. We’re here right up until the start of the Festive break and covering that weird downtime between Christmas and New Year, so don’t worry, marketing support is still available over the pud and sprout season!

To all our clients past and present we wish you a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Fancy a good ol' chat about the values of marketing to your business?
