We Made The Shortlist!
It’s been a fantastic year for Extreme Creations as we’ve continued to work hard and achieve exceptional results for our clients. If there’s anything better than developing a top digital marketing campaign for a client, it’s developing an award-nominated one. Our seasonal campaign for Nisa is exactly that – we’re shortlisted for Best Digital Marketing Campaign – Retail, at the Northern Digital Awards.
Our award submission ‘#SummerofLocal’ was informed and led by the data on an upwards trend of people opting to staycation in Britain – be it at home with day trips or
holiday parks. The campaign used unique and crowdsourced summer food inspiration (and hacks!) to engage new and existing Nisa shoppers, and offered a fun way to win great prizes through our ‘spin to win’ mechanic. Both of these key components to the campaign were hosted on dedicated landing pages (designed by our very own in-house geniuses!).
Social media played a large part in this campaign: using social shares, social media promotion and of course expertly written social content to give consumers real opportunity to engage with the campaign. Our hashtag #SummerofLocal featured across all summer Point of Sale in Nisa Local stores (and saw a 23% lift in campaign hashtag usage from the year before). Impressive stuff, eh?
We pride ourselves on really getting to know our clients well, and understood that locality was a key theme for Nisa. So we kept the messaging clear: Local shops, local people, local events and products available locally – this was the summer of local.
