A Coffee Morning for an Extreme-ly good cause

The Extreme team tucked into some tasty treats on 29th September to take part in Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

Helping to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, the nationwide coffee morning gives everyone chance to get together and enjoy some coffee and cake in the name of a great cause.

Our Campaign Manager, James, went all-out for the occasion and home roasted some delicious coffee beans for the team. His dark roast with a strong bitter flavour was a hit in the office, as was the medium roast with citrusy and tropical notes (don’t we know our stuff, eh?)

Our Social Media Exec, Laura, baked triple-choc cookies and flapjacks that were perfect for an early-morning snack for those of us who still remain confident that flapjacks are definitely a brekkie treat.

Beetroot brownies from our Client Services Director, Polly, were an absolute hit – we couldn’t get enough of the gooey centre! Who knew veggies baked in brownies could be so delicious?

Our Office Manager Rachael and Social Media Manager Donna brought in a range of goodies, too, including lemon drizzle and red velvet cake.

Team Extreme is joining in with @macmillancancer #CoffeeMorning today ☕ who can resist cake for breakfast?

The rest of the team joined in by enjoying the bakes and raising plenty of money for a fantastic cause! The team raised over £30, which will make a difference to Macmillan.
