Wensleydale Creamery is launched (quite literally!)

Wensleydale has been absolutely thrilled to see their online sales rocket following the website’s launch in November!

We like cheese almost as much as we like a challenge, so we were delighted to win the Wensleydale Creamery project, beating off some stiff competition in the process, including several big-name London agencies.

The world famous Yorkshire cheese producer wanted a fresh, accessible website to compliment their new modern image, to improve user experience and increase their online sales - all in time for the Christmas rush!

For the first phase of this project we created a bold, distinctive user interface that sets the real Wensleydale brand apart from its imitators. Using the latest user behaviour research we infused the design with intelligent site navigation and clear sign posts that help users quickly find the information they need and explore the site thoroughly.

Interactive features such as the 360 photographic virtual tour of the creamery and visitor centre encourage users to actively engage with the content whilst the redesigned online shopping cart is now more inviting and simpler to use.

The response has been overwhelming.

We are busy devising a pro-active, long term digital marketing campaign which will compliment Wensleydale’s offline activities as well as planning the addition of an interactive kids section to the website, so watch this space…
